Bill Ward Photography - Theatres in Danger

My name is Bill Ward and I'm an award winning actor and photographer (I played Charlie Stubbs in Coronation Street for 400+ episodes 2003-2007, and James Barton in Emmerdale for 300+ episodes 2013-17). I've also appeared in multiple West End shows, including Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Viva Forever, Million Dollar Quartet and Spamalot. I was touring The Glee Club for Out of Joint when the govt. shut the theatres on March 16th. As a photographer, I won the Adobe Prize at 2015 LPOTY, and Best Seascape this year at SLPOTY. I'm also an Ambassador for Pentax Cameras.

I'm launching a book of theatre photographs called #TheatresInDanger this Wednesday December 16th to support the Theatre Industry during this extraordinarily difficult time, with a Forward by Kate Wasserberg, Artistic Director of Out of Joint. All photographs were taken by me whilst working in theatres up and down the country over the last 10 years. All proceeds from book and print sales will go to the Theatres Trust, who are doing such valuable work helping theatres stay afloat, and reopen, during the pandemic. I'm currently taking pre-orders via my website at www.billwardphotography.co.uk/theatresindanger.
